What's up HPW crew! My name is Ty Rasmussen and I founded High Plains Western in 2025. I currently serve as a federal agent and pilot for Air and Marine Operations- a small component of the Department of Homeland Security. Additionally, I'm a United States Navy veteran, having served 4 years aboard the USS Ronald Reagan. Since I am a current law enforcement officer and a veteran I strive to support both first responders AND military veterans with this business.
I hope and pray this business builds a culture of like-minded individuals who are God fearing and relentless in the pursuit of greatness; country folk with a work ethic through the roof, and most importantly a servant heart. Serve God. Serve your family. Serve your country/community. This embodies what High Plains Western is all about.
Coming from the front range of Colorado, I named the business after the geographical area of where the high plains meet the mountains. The country western culture I grew up in and fell in love with is in my blood. It bred a patriotism that I know is shared with so many. High Plains Western hopes to build on that bond and create a tight knit community.
